Sales, Marketing & Distribution Partner: Costa Group
Nectar Farms has partnered with the Costa Group (costagroup.com.au) by way of an Off-take marketing alliance for the sales, marketing and distribution of our produce.
Costa is Australia’s largest grower, packer and marketer of premium quality fresh fruit and vegetables, with its produce supplied to all the major Australian supermarket chains, as well as independent grocers and a range of food industry stakeholders. Costa also exports to Asia, North America and Europe.
Costa will advise during the initial construction of each glasshouse, plus review market demand and pricing to drive decision making in the optimum product mix.
Costa has 20ha of its own protected glasshouse production and will provide value added supply chain and logistics services aligned to its own experience.
Costa is well regarded in the industry for its strong relationships with alliance partners, growers and Australia’s key retailers
Managing Construction Risk: Georgiou Group
A highly regarded construction contractor with an enviable record in innovatively delivering major projects, with over 650 employees and $500 million in turnover.
Georgiou Group has executed major works since 2008 for its blue chip client base including Curtin University, Ramsay Health, Healthscope, TOLL, Asciano, Aurizon (ex QR National), Aldi and Fortescue Metals.
In the short time Georgiou Group has been engaged, as principal contractor, it has brought together the construction plan and budget rapidly, to ensure a timely schedule of February 2017 commencement of our first glasshouse.
To help bring Nectar Farms to market they will use an Alliance Delivery Model, including program management, local sourcing, contract admin, pre-commissioning and commissioning. This model ensures full commercial alignment with previous projects 88% on or below budget, and 73% ahead of schedule.

Design + Development Partner - Food Ventures
Specialist award-winning glasshouse technical advisers, Food Ventures, from The Netherlands, have a strong background in designing, commissioning and optimising glasshouse projects with a holistic approach to project design and commissioning.
Food Ventures has joined the Nectar Farms team, specialising in expert glasshouse growing.
With a number of international glasshouse projects completed in Eastern Europe, Asia and Australia, Food Ventures has been selected to provide technical and growing production operations.
